Does anyone know whether anyone's copied or digitized actual NASA
control room telemetry screens from various missions which can be
used as screensavers?
Well, not that I'd ever seen, but such a thing would be damn cool, if
I do say so myself...

I'm considering a 5400rpm 40gig drive for my 5300ce.
Thing is, I'm not sure whether I'll notice that much of a performance
increase over a cheaper 4200 rpm drive when considering the 5300ce's bus
speed of 33.3 mhz.
Any thoughts?

Can someone point me to a good FAQ or 2 about choosing and installing a
larger hard drive on the 1400? I recall that there are some limits and
things to note with this book.
Cheers, and greetings to many of you with whom I've enjoyed great

I dropped in an IBM TravelStar 20Gig 5400rpm drive into my 1400c (166 at the
time, now is 333G3) and have been extremely satisfied with the performance.
Picked it up at one of those fair ground PC sales for 80 bucks about 8
months ago.
The install was cake. Had it up and running in 15 minutes.

Er, sorta.
In about 1 in 10 boots (with all the proper voodoo and providence), I
can get a ce display to work on 512KB of VRAM. So far I've only been
successful doing that with extensions disabled.
