For static to exist you need to be in a very low humidity environment. The amount of static electricity necessary to damage most modern electronics is pretty severe and noticeable. The equipment in question would also be grounded for the discharge to do damage. Tapping the power supply on your

Hey Peoples Sometimes when I startup my 540c [OS 7.6], I get a "CFM-68k Runtime Enabler" system error during the startup proggression of the Extensions and Control Panels. Usually a PRAM flush at restart will cure it... Could someone explain what I need 2 do 2 cure this? Thanks, Craig W.
