Hi, can anyone say for sure what might be the problem here: while installing OS 8.5 on my pb1400 an error message comes up saying: the application "Drive Setup" could not be opened. Does anyone think that this might be caused by corrupt software. . . or what could be the problem? -MW , -- Po

Start drive setup. In the menu somwhere is an option for re-installing the disk driver. Don't have a classic booted system handy so I can't tell you exactly where. Yep. Start Drive Setup with the CF card inserted. Select the CF card in the list of drives. Select "Update Driver" from the "Fun

To be bootable, the disk has to have a driver. I guess sometimes a standard formatting doesn't apply this driver to PC card flash memory. I dunno why that is... With that in mind, I'd guess it's a timing issue with the cards. My setup has to have a driver, or it would not work. Yet it inter

I, also, am having problems with my Calluna MoveIT 260MB Type II ATA PC Card PCMCIA Miniature Hard Disk Drive. I have installed 8.5 on it and wiped my internal hard disk. It has worked OK for very short time. I'm now getting the bomb thing with bus error each time I start/restart with extensions
