280c keyboard

Is there any way to improve the keyboard on a 280c. I took mine out and could see the rubber pads and the button pushing through the metal liner. The liner appeared slightly bent. Many of the keys aren't registering when pushed. Thanks! -- PowerBooks is sponsored by and.
