I think they do charge the LiOns, but to be honest, I can't remember--I'm at work and don't have the charger info handy. The box doesn't specify only nickle-metal hydride (pulled up and looked at the box on one of the ebay auctions). I don't own a LiOn battery so I'm not sure. All the other

I got one of these for a friend who has as 3400 too. He had to get a 5300 power supply in order to power the charger. (My PB 5300's charger works fine with the charger I got. :) ) It's a hassle, but I've seen the PS going for under $10 on ebay lately. Later.Howard __
