5300 - OS 8.1, Open Transport 1.3.1, TCP/IP switched to Alternate
Ethernet and DHCP configuration, AppleTalk set to Alternate Ethernet,
Apple Talk Active, File Sharing on, Owner ID is Dan, computer name is
Dan.
Pismo - OS 9.2.2, TCP/IP switched to Alternate Ethernet and DH
I thought that a newer mac could talk to an older mac using a
crossover cable, so I must be doing something wrong.

Saw a post about a 3400 keyboard cable that staopped working. With
repeated instertions, the connectors wear out.
Thought I'd like to share my standard fix for this. I was very happy
when I discovered this ( on my 5th 3400 keyboard...)

I agree! Let's not split up too much. If someone wants to chat, they can
always continue off-list; also, people that have a problem are often
