The Pismo is more readily adaptable.
By this I mean that even a clot with the mechanical skills of a
turtle with a screwdriver (i.e. me...) can upgrade and reconfigure it
rather easily.
The TiBooks, on the other hand usually need a more skilled touch, and
upgrade parts are fewer

is not recomended and startup is very slow. to get the effect of the
second mouse button in OS 8 press ctrl+click and a menu will come up,
and with the Mac there are mahy third-party apps you can install to

Hey all! I have PB 1400 with a Wireless card. I have turned on File
sharing and shared a folder, On of our computers is a Windows and it
is on the network along with the 1400, is it possible to have the
windows recognize the 1400 (PS I have Mac OS 8.1)? Thanks!

First of all is the power supply- it seems to be very finicky these
days, and if I move it, the computer loses power (batteries are

Might have to do with the version of iCab you're using? I seem to
remember that there was a memory problem with one of the earlier versions.

I have 32meg chip RAM and RAM Charger as well which does a great job at
allocating program memory. It was RC which red-flagged that iCab 2.9.8 had
an Ran Out Of Memory problem.
Yes I can get on the net and I can get my eMac to communicate with the
