Powerbook 1400 PC Card Bootup Freeze

2003-09-10 Thread Mark Edward Attew
Seems whenever I try to use either my GV Powerport Platinum Pro or Dayna Communicard Ethernet PC cards, my 1400 freezes after the first extension loads up. Strangely enough, if I remove the card before booting, it boots fine. Why would the card being installed cause the extensions to lock up? Mar

Is there a PowerBook swap list? I would like to off-load this iBook for something a bit more to my needs (plus some cash of course). Mark -Original Message- From: PowerBooks [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Mark Edward Attew Sent: Wednesday, July 09, 2003 3:29 PM To: PowerBooks

What peripherals do you have, PCMCIA cards? I have a G3 366 Graphite SE with 192 RAM, CD ROM, one USB, no firewire. I would like a PowerBook with Firewire capability. I already have a stock 1400c which is lackluster is speed and performance so yours would need to outperform the iBook. M. -
