Actually, the orinoco is 16 bit I believe, I've used it in the past with a
2400, non cardbussed, and airport software...there is a known issue with
using the 1400 that this current software supposedly corrected...I get a
signal to the base station, but can't seen to access the internet or my
orinoco cards are 16 bit

The 1400 has a 16 bit bus not 32 in the PC slot. It can't use a 32 bit
cardbus which is probably what the Orinoco is. Not sure if there is an
adapter
