Any external SCSI CD-ROM (or CD-RW) should work just fine. Use either the System 7.6 Apple CD-ROM drivers (ver. 5.3.1) or a third party driver like CD/HDST. You will also need an HDI-30 to SCSI cable. (HDI-30 is the square port on the back of your 5300. That's PB SCSI) Jim -- PowerBooks is sp

Well now that it appears I will have a useable 5300cs powerbook, along with a 4 gig drive from a friend to put in it, I need to start thinking about the book's memory. Right now it only has a measly 16 mb module. Somehow I need to get up to that max of 64. So I'm wondering what different types
