Well, I do, for one. Then again, I don't consider any G4 to be low-end,
on the PowerBook front, yet the G-books list is flooded with them. Even
my Lombard 400 isn't low end, IMHO.

I've also set up a Mac mini List.

Well, yes, it is slightly amusing, but I've had to face the fact that
we're suddenly in a whole new Mac world... and it won't be long before
many listers here feel like orphans in the new MacIntel environment!
I think that the low-end lists here will become even more valuable
as time wears on,

Today's high-end is tomorrow's low-end. And let's face it, from the
benchmarks starting to appear, the new x86 iMac is barely medium-end.
The name is good. The community is great. Keep it.

Gosh, if there's going to be new lists, I wish there'd be one for ALL
Old Macs, Pre-OS X. I'm getting really tired of reading about OS

don't
have to sub to the new lists,

As farsighted as Jobs and Woz are, they did not, afaik, rig a
DeLorean with a particle accelerator to introduce the Mac to the
amazed

Of course, it sounds hilarious, but remember the temporary subtitle of
the LEM Homepage: Because every Mac is low-end some time.
We've created some new email lists, but they're different from the old
ones. We're using Google Groups, which means you can sign up, change
your status, and read postings using your browser.
I hope to eventually move other lists to Google Groups as well.
