I tried locating ADB Parser, and the only copy I could find keeps
replicating new .sit files everytime I try to unstuff it--including the
.sit files. :) I went to a link at Apple's Website that Google gave me
but I couldn't find it there either. Does anyone have a link I could use
to get this

Hello,
Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?
1) I have JPEG View 3.3 (for 68040 and PPC machines) on my powerbook 5300.
When I double click it to open, the dialogue box says 'JPEG View cannot be
opened because it cannot be found'. (I have rebuilt the desktop to try to
solve this)

I've got one of those ALPS glidepoints too (ADB model), but I've never had
any
software for it--all I do is adjust the mousespeed in the control panel.
I did notice that you do have to have it plugged in when you start the PB
up, or it'll have terrible response time on the computer screen. (Same
screen appears, and that's it. I tried
running it with all extension shut off. Is this what the G3 does to
old software? Other older programs still work.
I am presently using System 8.1.

I just got rid of a 520c and a 540c. They're '040 machines which
means -- with some decent RAM -- you can run OS 8.1 on them.
I recently inherited a 520 and a 520c powerbook. Any ideas where to get some
of the older versions of office(or just word) filemaker, Netscape or I.E so
I can use them. All of my software is very current, so I think that they are
pretty much out of the question.
Any help or direction very much

You can also get lucky sometimes at thrift stores,
