Your PowerBook 520c is running IE 5.1? If it is then you must have a PowerPC upgrade card as well that you didn't mention. IE is slow on any Macintosh, especially old ones. I use WannaBe for graphics-less web browsing on my older machines, and if something comes up where I need graphics I

Thanks for the advice. BTW, I kept getting the Beta expired error on Office 98 with the 520c. Once I disabled the date and time control panel and removed the clock from the menu bar, it worked fine. Just a thought. Thanks Kevin Without throwing a lot of money at it? Buy a newer
