It is my understanding that PB's are not internally terminated like desktops
and that is why you need that pass-through terminator between the PB and the
SCSI device.

I just recently bought an old (probably pretty slow, but it is new enough to
have a tray and not the holder cartridge) Apple CD external along with a
regular PB scsi CABLE (not the connector). I am running 7.5.5 on that PB520
and I simply connected it and it recognized it right away with the regul

Well it's been a few weeks into my power book 520 and I have bought more
adapters and cables than I know what to do with.
I still can't get a web browser on the machine, though I now have many
to choose from that someone burnt to a CD rom for me, Which leads us to
our (or my ) problem. I
