In case not everyone here knows:
Posting of any URLs of Apple service manuals is strictly forbidden on
all LEM lists -- don't do it!!
Because posting and distrubuting copyrighted works without the
permission of the copyright holder is illegal. Apple vigilantly
pursues such violations.
The policy arose because of Apple's habit of having the service manuals
available on a website, freely available, until they decided that too many
of us great unwashed were getting access to them. Publication of their
(and others) website URLs would cause them to immediatley hide the
material.
BTW, a list member kindly sent me a CD-ROM of these, and I would be glad
to share it with people, if there is an easy way to do it.
But, this CD-ROM was authored without the knowledge or approval of Apple
Computer, so further distribution would also be in violation.
