Having PowerMail display the HTML does not provide link addresses.
Having a browser load the HTML generally loads all of the images (unless
I've configured my browser differently) which shows spammers that I've
read the email.
Disable the HTML reader.

There are no archives.
But Tim's PowerMail FAQ
I am able to simply select text in the message window, and copy that. You
mean you cannot touch the message? That is not normal.

I'm a new user [just installed yesterday]. Problem: How do I select all
or part of a received text message to copy onto a word-processor? The
only workaround I could devise is to make a reply message, which will
allow me to copy, then delete. Any suggestions?

Excellent, thanks!

Chris,
it does it only if it is defined like that:
Content-Type: multipart/mixed;
but I get a whole bunch of html-code under this condition:
Content-Type: text/html;
And those are the ones, which are making trouble.

Mozilla and Powermail thread:
the easy way:
- save them as an attachment
In some way PowerMail seems to do this. From the varied HTML mails I get,
my attachment folder gets filled with files named:
Enclosure.html
Enclosure.1.html
...
Enclosure.62.html

Hi all,
Netscape is becoming a decent browser again, and for some sites it is the
best I can use.
Unfortunately it insists on using its own mail-client, which I obviously
do not want to use.

you have to little buttons down on the right side.
With the one with a hook in it, you can erase the already read messages
with the other one all messages get erased from the recent mail window.
Else all messages, which are new stay in that window until you quit PM.

Barbara,
that's not a solution for me.
Anyway thanks for the tip.
I think there are some ways out of this HTML-dilemma, but they have to be
implemented by ctmdev.
When the mails are received, the headers have to be parsed, else
filtering wouldn't work.
Why not, if detecting a pure html-mail do
I suspect the Recent Mail window's not obeying my View Unread option.
Often I close the window and when re-open, read mail is still there. Is
it just me or does anyone else experience this? Thanks/

Such companies send their confirmations all out in HTML. I also just got
one some days ago.
They do not care, that people don't like it.
If one gets a couple of such HTML-mails, the index process is crashing.
I know this is only a temporary fix, but

Unfortunately, I can't, because the HTML that was sent to me is a
cruise confirmation with sensitive information in it.
But if it happens again with another e-mail I'll let you know.

Thanks, man.
You know, I sorta discovered this just before today's list e-mail
came in. I just deleted everything, re-downloaded PowerMail, and instead
of deleting that first default account reconfigured it. I didn't realize
I was breaking the default link in the schedulings folder
