Well, after installing Leopard via the Archive Install, I solved my MIA main
user/admin account problem.
My next problem was with PowerMail and passwords. This was fixed by using
Keychain Access' First Aid feature and all my passwords were restored.
Now my issues:
#1 -- I cannot send any
#3 -- SpamSieve is having issues as well (SLOW loading, non-responsive)
Though I had no issues concerning PM after installing Leopard, I
experienced the same behavior of SpamSieve. However, looking through the
developer's forum, I found the solution: reduce the size of the corpus file.

Hi,
I'm still on Tiger but have (off and on) problems with PM
hiding. Some times it doesn't, other times it hides so well
I have to force-quit to get it back. Frustrating, but I can't
tell what I do to make it happen.

A bit more on the keychain issues.
I did do the keychain first aid as someone mentioned. (I had never seen
that command before). All of the errors shown were in PM related passwords.
PM accounts that had the password in the keychain would work fine for a
connect... connection, but would fail for
but on the other hand, I am also a user and also on leopard since last
friday and no problems whatsoever on leopard with powermail - so far.
obviously milage varies and not all is bad and for me right now good.
