I tried deleting ALL .old files from Powermail File folder and spotlight
cache. Seemed to work. Don't ask me why!!! `did you try searching
with wildcards like eg testim* or *timon* etc.
Hope it works - did for me but, as said, probably more luck than
judgement!

On Friday,
Not knowing much about Leopard, not putting it on until it's working
nicely!!, I have however deleted all files ending in .old many times as
they take up SO much space and only appear after compacting Database
anyway so as long as your main Database is working then there is no need
for such files
Forgive the silly question, but in the Powermail Files folder there are
quite a few files with the suffix .old
Is it safe to delete these as they are quite large!!
Ta.
Carl
Thank you very much. All seems to working so have deleted and gained
rather a lot of space!!

When I sometimes have to send HTML message on to someone I use redirect.
Usually this works but sometimes the HTML is still stripped. ANy ideas
why this should happen? Probably the best way is to open the message in
a browser, save it and then send it but even then some images are often
missed
Mikael,
Thanks for that. Something else that I've been trying is if the HTML is
vital to the message I've been opening the message in browser, saving
that as page source and attaching it to a blank message. Usually that
works. Also, redirecting sometimes works - depends on what mood it is
Apologies. I just read your from address and thought it was the .mac
address you were having problems. Oops!!

an email which has quite a lot of html in it but when I either FORWARD
or REDIRECT it the html is stripped.

Hello
Nope, not new here!! But have written to technical support at PM on
several occasions but no answers have been received. Only time I
received a reply was when I said something which rattled their cages at
HQ. Never mind...:)
Pay for support??? There are plenty of Email clients out there
Pay for support??? There are plenty of Email clients out there whcih
work far better than PM and their developers seem far quicker to respond
to any problems which might be raised. No doubt I shall raise a few
eyebrows at PM but that's why I and many others paid money to buy this
programme.

With no respect also, I totally agree with Winston's comments. The
sooner CTM realise that not everybody is happy - and there are lots of
us; I myself have had 22 private emails since posting my comment - the
better for all concerned. How can that be wasted bandwidth if some good

Charles
Thanks for that. I was beginning to think I was the only one they were
ignoring!!!
Take care.

The only one I did get a reply to was when I complained about their

Is there any way to Redirect HTML emails which contain things such as
animation. Up until now whenever I have attempted this the animation
doesn't work and the pictures are simply sent as attachments. Forwarding
the email simply strips the HTML.

Just started using Powermail and have one small problem. If I receive an
email in HTML - graphics etc - and I want to forward it on to others the
HTML etc is stripped out of the message. The only way to send it
intact is to Redirect it. Is there any way, if I redirect, to change
the From: field to
Hi Barbara,
Yep, that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid! I don't see any way around
it though. Is it possible to edit the Headers before sending at all I wonder.

Jeremy
Thanks for that. Sorry to be so thick, used to using more basic email
clients! Does this mean that if the recipients then click reply it will
come to my address? I'll give it a try now. Thanks again.

Ok, tried that but now what happens is this: I click redirect and the
email appears exactly as it should. Then as soon as I enter an email
address it vanishes and just leaves a grey screen ! Help please!
