BVPS had the same problem a number of years ago. We used to take some kind of
exemption, but that was no longer acceptable to our management (not sure the
exact details because it was before my time). We now just ship as rad material
to a licensed vendor.

1. Aligned with our personnel monitoring periods, which are roughly 3-4
months depending on outage schedules (we are a two unit site).
2. We use LiF TLDs for onsite area monitoring. These are NOT REMP area TLDs
– just to clarify.
3. We have increased over the year
Not sure if the concentrations will be the same, but we performed this by
adding 5 gallons to the cavity prior to drain down and saw no effect on Decon
effort. May not be worth the effort, but also had no negative effects.

monitoring, which negates the need to whole body count on a routine basis. New

Operator who declares pregnancy. At First Energy, we administratively control
DPW dose to < 50 mrem/month. My concern is whether or not a licensed
