Lenovo was the PC arm of IBM but was sold to the Chinese some time ago which
might be why they don't have the IBM logo. I have bought or had bought on
my recommendation about 15 ASUS laptops over the last 2 years and have been
very pleased with them all. I think they are as good as any and better
