Hi, We use "\". In PCAD you can type it once at the end. In Protel you have to type it after each character to get the same but it's possible. I don't see any problems with Protel itself. Mira --- Cliff Gerhard <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > We use a "#" after the signal name ala the PCI > speci

Thanks. Did you mean Tools/preferences? I checked it but it behaves differently. When "\" is placed at the end it draws the line only after the last character. To get a single neation on the whole string I had to type "\" in front of it. I like this flexibility. Mira --- Graham <[EMAIL PROTECTED]

HI all with regards to below: scoring (or v-grooving) is a cheaper way to manufacture boards as the scoring tool has to remove less material, so it can move a lot faster. The boards will be a lot cheaper with this method. The tradeoff is that you need more clearance from copper and components to

You could put a dashed *line* set to the same colour as the template background over the *wire*. It shows up ok-ish. I've used this method before to show green/yellow earth wire in a wiring loom diagram. Using 'medium' sized green wires with 'small' yellow lines as the stripe. Tom. -Origina

Sure, but they are only visual indicators, not intelligent wires. Use the "Place-DrawingTools-Line" and you can draw dashed lines all day. When you start the first segment, press tab and change the line style to "Dashed". As you place, it will look solid, but when you're done, they will be dashed.

Sure. Begin placing a Graphical Line (NOT a wire) on the schematic, then hit the Tab key to open the polyline properties dialog box. Pull down the line style tab and select dashed or dotted as desired. Once finished with the dashed line, you'll have to reselect solid line. You can also edit ex
