Feel free to pass this around!
Hi folks,
Most of you are aware of the problems with Logic Pro X. Among the
accessibility problems is the problem of not being able to read effects and
EQ with Voiceover. Now we have the same problem with GarageBand 10. I know
that some of you are
hello guys.
I have two questions which are both completely unrelated. Hopefully, somebody
can help me out. let's say that I have selected a bit of audio on either one
audio track, or a series of tracks. back in the days when I was using Windows,
and was using sound Forge, after selecting
Hello All,
When creating an instrument track I interact with the inserts plugins,
choosing A and I go to the instrument, VO right and the only choice I see
is TC sterio plugin or something like that.
When creating a new track I put 2 so I can use 3 and 4 for the instrument
sterio.
I am sure I
First of all, why're you creating 2 or 3 tracks? You only need one stereo
instrument track to make this work.
Second of all, are you sure you're creating an instrument track, and not an
audio track?
Finally, yeah, I don't know what version you have of PT, but if it's version
9, or version
You need to make sure that when you creat the new stareo track that you
select instrument and not audio. Then when you go to the incert of that
track under instruments all of your instrument plugs should be in there, I
would start off with the plugin named, Expand, it has many instrument types.
Hello Christafer, if you use the up and down arrow to select the portion of
audio you are going to edit, you should just be able to make sure your quick
nav is off by pressing the left and right arrow at the same time. You arrow
down at the start of the selection point, then arrow up at the
Hello Chris,
I am creating an instrument track however when purchasing no DVD so what
you wrote below makes since.
All I have to do is download the plugins and should be all set.
That for the suggestion as well to Papa Bear.

Apologies for taking this slightly OT folks, but I am contemplating purchasing
one of the Apogee Duet products. I know the original one was simply controlled
by a rotary knob, but I’ve heard that later models / variants are touchscreen
based. By any chance can any of you confirm this? The
Hi Donal,
I haven't used the Duet but I do know that there is Mac-based software that is
used to set it up and control certain parameters. The software has always been
largely accessible. However, for example, the main volume control in the
software is invisible which isn't a problem because
Hi Slau,
I’m very tempted indeed. At the minute it is a toss up between the Apogee Duet
2 or 4 and one of the higher-end Focusright models. There’s no comparison in
the sound quality in my view but that’s me being subjective *smile*
I’ll keep the list informed.

Nudge value is set either by clicking on the nudge value button and entering
the desired value or, if you're within one of the default values, by pressing
Command-Option-plus or minus on the numeric keypad. Default nudge values are,
for example, 1 millisecond, 10 milliseconds, 100 milliseconds,
Hi guys,
I do have this unit which works for the iPad as well and the big knob is very
nice. By pressing on the knob you can switch between input 1, 2, head phone
and output. The on screen app is a little strange, but, with a little work it
can be used.
We print the Bible in Braille,
Where's this nudge value button you describe? Is that in my edit window?
