What are some of your favorite tricks to get a nice rhythm guitar
spread on a hard rock/metal track?
I usually get stuff here that features two rhythm guitars, if not
distinct performances, at least different mics on one amp. Usually,
I can at least pan them hard left and right,
I would maybe try and send one of the delays through another bus into a touch
of reverse reverb and see if that gives you anything worth holding on to.

Visit the ProTools with speech website. One of the members of this list has
created some nice tutorial done on ProTools 10 but it works for me with
ProTools 11. There are a few things that you need to optimize.One is command
space you will need that to start the record process.
