Waves does have a demo, so grab it and try it out. That being said while I am
not a Vocal Rider user the AudioUnit versions of the waves plugs I have used in

Thanks for your response. I am somewhat new to this all, so I may ask
some questions in the future about this.
I guess I will have to install and see what happens.

Ah the joys of shared folders on Drop box. I suspect you may have copied
the folder from Dropbox on to your system or an external drive attached to
your system. The problem then is that because you only have read access

Hi John,
There's an issue with certain plug-ins where VoiceOver sees the parameter but
can't necessarily affect it through standard interaction. This is seen in some
plug-ins created with the JUCE platform among others. Some developers have
managed to solve the issue while others have not. It's
Chris,
You've contributed links to articles of general interest and that's fine, of
course, and I'm sure anyone would agree that it's understandable why one would
want to stay on top of accessibility developments. That makes 100% sense. My
comment is simply that the framing of something in a way
So, back to my original question, can I use this plugin with
voiceover? It sounds like a very useful plugin for some of my
workflow. I wrote to the person at waves, but have not received an
answer yet.

ok, I shall refrain from posting. I only read

Hi Brian,
Although the parameters are mapped to the host automation, the names of those
parameters still show up as generic names. For now, press the Automation Enable
button in the Plug-In window and interact with the first text area. There,
you'll see the list of parameters which will correspo
As this is a Pro Tools access list dealing with VoiceOver, yes, of course, it's
off topic. So why bring it up? Why add comments like, "Well, over on the
Windows side…" Should I go over to some Windows accessibility list and say,
"Well, over on the Mac side…" Would that help the Windows users?

it's as accessible or not as any Waves plugin, over on the windows
side. i.e. parameters are exposed in a handy list in either Reaper or
Samploitude. That's off-topic for here though.

Hello all,
So I am able to see the ravens croft presets within the UVI workstation plug,
and I loaded the ravens croft multi preset, but the parameters are not making
sense. Looks like they are numbers, and after the value is spoken, voiceover
says host automation and then another number such a
Hi Slau,
That worked. Now when I am trying to delete the true piano presets from the
folder, it is saying that it cannot be completed because the operation is
locked. Any suggestions as to why it might be saying that? It tries to move
them to the trash but then I get that error message. Than
Awesome, thank you Slau.

Hi Brian,
That was actually more like 3 or 4 years ago now :) I certainly don't have a
copy of it but someone else might. I should probably do a new one.

Hi Brian,
The folder structure in the Plug-In Settings folder within the Drop Box is the
same as for your local Plug-In Settings folder. In other words, you can copy an
entire folder from the Drop Box version and paste it into your local Plug-In
Settings folder and it'll work. Copy the UVI Work

Guys,
Disregard last message. I finally found where it needed to go. Now, my only
other question is I am assuming that I would copy the three pro tools ravens
croft presets in to my plugin settings folder for PT. Do I need to create any
folder within that folder for the ravens croft, and if s
