Ah, one thing did just come to mind. If you haven't done this already, make
sure that in the Pro Tools Preferences, under the Operation tab, you check the
checkbox for "Insertion Follows Scrub." If you haven't done that, that's the

correctly, there's a scrub button that needs to be pressed to get the surface
into scrub mode. If the device is recognized and the faders pop up when you
