Hi all,
I am working with Pro Tools 9. For many years, I have used the gain plugin to
determine peak and rms levels. Now I am moving into work which requires me to
read the DBFS peak and LKFS levels. Is there a way to determine these levels on
a track in PT 9?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi all,
Just thought I'd post this for any who hadn't seen it. And yes, of course, we
have blind engineers who use ProTools to make all of this video description
magic happen!
Spring has sprung, and it's so pretty! The flowers are blooming, the birds are
singing, and...oh yes, there's a major w
Thanks to Slau, this was solved.

Hi again,
I have a much simpler question to answer. Can you tell me what the keyboard
command is to move tracks up or down in the track list? I looked in the
shortcuts file, and I can't seem to find it.
Thank.

Chris
Hi all,
It's been a while since I posted here, but I have a couple of questions. I'm
using a ProTools 9 MBox setup,. It requires the one firewire port on my Macbook
Pro. I have a firewire hard drive which I wish to use to run my sessions. There
is an extra firewire port on the back of the MBox.

Hi all,
In regard to the video function in PT, I've a question.
By default, PT will let you bounce your audio mix and save it as the new audio
in the video. It will save it as a compressed mp4 file. Is there a way to save
it as a full resolution .mov file? If it does not do this natively, is ther
Hi all,
While editing a voiceover track, I came across a function I hadn't seen before.
If you press command-U while a region is selected, it will trim out the breaths
and such for you with reasonably good results. There is, however, a control for
threshold and level that Voiceover can see and i

Hi Guys,
I must simply be brain dead today, but I just can't seem to find the command to
make the C-24's scrub wheel change the amount of selection as the wheel is
turned while in scrub mode. I'm editing a voice track for breaths and pops, and
I want to adjust how much my scrub will cover at one
Hi guys,
does anyone here know of a good pop click filter for ProTools? I used to have a
plug-in on the gold wave system I had for the PC, and it was able to completely
eliminate pops and clicks in voiceover tracks. Is there such a thing for
ProTools? Is it a third party plug-in? Any help would
Hi,
I don't remember if I introduced myself on the list before, but my name is
Chris Snyder. I'm working with a ProTools nine HD two system, and I'm using
c/24 control interface. Does anyone have experience with the c24? I'm having
some wiring and routing path issues
Hi Bryan,
This is great! I'm still here at the convention, but I stay at my house since I
live in Phoenix. I got caught in traffic on Monday afternoon, and didn't make
it to the presentation, but being able to listen to it will be great!
Friendly,
Chris
