For me it is the cats meow. I would never be without it if I get time I will
try and do something to help improve it. I am not making any money with it as
well not even trying to. But hey it is fun easy and wonderful. I forget the
shortcuts that's for sure but I keep the document open.

Hi Chuck,
Interesting point of view you have about Flotools;) I am still in doubt whether
to use it or not. But I am not earning money with it, so its probably a no
brainer for me.
My memory for shortcuts lets me down when using Pro Tools too little and
Flotools has probably a whole new set of
Hi Bren yes that is strange you can’t use apple script. After what i’ve heard
about the sierra behaviour with pt, i’ve also decided to stay with yosemite for
now, It works well with flotools here. I am running pt 12.61 i think.\

I'm still adjusting to mac life slowly outside PT so will rap my head around
the OS nuking and paving when there's more down time I reckon.
Yes the Yosemite bug is a real thorn in my side, especially as I work quite
happily without the new Sierra commands mentioned.

I've been dividing my time between machines with and without FloTools for over
6 months and have found it easy, largely because of how FloTools feels like a
natural augmentation rather than a redefining of PT for me, though I'm sure
that will vary from person to person.
I'm finding a really usef
Hi Brian,
For what its worth I and several other PT "pros" don't use flowtools mainly
because when working in other studios they wouldn't even think of letting you
install anything on their studio "work Box".
That would make it a bit sticky "slow" while trying to engineer a session in a

Hi Brian,
Yep, I'm tolerating the Sierra behavior. Being able to jump between track list

I couldn't even begin to calculate the time I've sa
Slau, my apologies, I vaguely recall having been told this already, I
think I have FloTools working as it should in that case. Are you
sucking it up for want of a better phrase and working off Sierra
regardless of this VO bug? My main studio machine is still on Yosemite
and working extremely stable
Hi Brian,
That's not a Flo Tools issue but a VoiceOver focus issue in Sierra. We've
talked about that here a few times but you probably missed the discussion.
Apple is aware of the problem and we're still waiting for them to fix it. Yep,
it's a hassle to be thrown back to the top of the window e
Hi all,
I had FloTools working fairly well before upgrading to sierra and had
to upgrade for software for my partner to use, anyway I am only using
FloTools on this secondary machine fr the moment for various reasons,
so I didn't make a backup of my system pre upgrade.
So the main issue I'm havin
