Can someone remind me how to recover audio in a clip, if accidently tracked over? For example, if I am patching in to retake a particular vocal phrase and inadvertently overwrite the head of the next adjacent clip, how can I trim back the head of the overwritten clip in order to regain the original

Select the clip whose beginning was overwritten. To move the left boundary of the clip to the left (or earlier to reveal more of the clip as it was previously), press Option minus on the numeric keypad. This will adjust it by the nudge value so be sure to use a nudge value of more than a millise
