I've never had a problem with the site. I think the need to cancel a
subscription complicates the matter and I think I've heard that the
cancellation process isn't accessible. At any rate, yep, Sweetwater can handle
that problem.

You do actually need to enter the renewal code on the Avid site. Best thing to
do, since you purchased from Sweetwater, is to have them TeamViewer into your
system and get it done efficiently.
