Hi,
We have a system where we have the following scenario that we can't
manually reproduce:
Prereqs:
- Firefox is open with many tabs including Last.fm, youtube and possibly
other sites containing flash applications,
- Amarok or another is generally running *but* nothing is currently

Hi,
I've just noticed that using alsamixer to set pulseaudio's master volume
is not working anymore. I switched back to an earlier alsa-utils
snapshot (20090624) still the same.
I didn't do any changes to pulseaudio for a long time, it's 0.9.15 with
the proposed patchset of Lennart.

decided to push another snapshot.
Hi,
Does it make sense to migrate from 0.9.15 to 0.9.16 in a stable distro

i use pulse 0.9.14 with KDE 4.3. In the Phonon setting of KDE I set

Ok, and in pavucontrol I've set system sounds to 50% loudness. But system
sound is still much louder than e.g. MP3 playback which

Could you please verify that this fixes your issues?

Yep, it fixes, thanks a lot!

Hi,
First of all here's a bug reported by someone else in debian bug
tracking system:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=525572
Here's the summary:
1) Start pulseaudio (per-user),
2) Play something, it works, nice.
3) Mute the master channel using KMix or amixer, doesn't matter:

Hi,
We're having some issues with PA 0.9.10.
I can reproduce the problem with mplayer or kaffeine. I'm starting to

Reinstalling 0.9.10 fixes the issue, everything pauses and plays flawlessly.
I can provide you more info and debug messages in case you need them.
Thanks,
