Hi all,
after an extensive pymol session, I ended up with a lot of intermediate objects
that I now want to delete so I will only keep my final object. Is there an easy
way to remove all but one object? I tried the delete command, but something like
delete (not obj_final)
did not work as expecte
Hi all,
I have problems showing a EM structure in PyMol. When I open the PDB file 3J6J
in PyMol, the structure is shown very small in a diameter of about 1Ang. This
makes some representations like Cartoon or sticks unusable and comparison with
other structures impossible. I checked the file and
Hi Allesia,
I am not quite sure how to want to select the atoms, but if you want to have
the selected atoms of both m1 and m2 in the same selection (here s1), then try
this:
select s1, (m1 and id 1-3) or (m2 and id 7-9)
if you want two different selections, just do
select s1, m1 and id 1-3

Hello Santiago,
have you tried using the graphics drivers from the xorg-edgers project?
That helped me with the stick coloring problem:

and may also help with your problem.

Bernhard,
Do you have desktop effects (aka compositing) turned on? If so,
please turn it off and try PyMOL again.
Cheers,

Dear Pymol users
because I had the stick coloring problem with my Intel graphics board, I
just compiled Pymol 1.4.1 under Ubuntu 11.04 (had some problems there
and had to change from gcc4.5 to gcc4.4, but it then worked). However,
now I have another problem after starting pymol. The main Pymol Vie
Hello,
I have the same problem as Timothy described a few days ago ('Problem
with display on Intel graphics card').
I tried Pymol 1.2r1 and 0.99rc6 on Ubuntu 10.04 and had the problem with
both versions. However, after ray tracing the view with the command
'ray' the color is right, until I change
