thanks to David and Bob for your answers, i've installed gcc and now
everything is working well.
Though i still have a problem when trying to install Sci-py the
installer tells :
x11_info:
NOT AVAILABLE
Fatal Python error: Interpreter not initialized (version mismatch?)
Abort trap
any idea ?

it works OK now, i just de-installed the first version, python works
fine now (well just like before i installed Xcode, gcc etc... !!!)
but i still have problems with scipy...it seems like the installer can
not find a particular library, i've installed FFTW, F2PY though
