I am running Windwos 10 host and latest qemu. I have tried to run with and without the -accel whpx flags. operation is the same SLOW. even though it ways windows acceleration enabled. Is there another way to speed up the windows 10 hosts ? I am attempting a CentOS 8 client. My command is simple:

How do I get 4K resolution on Windows 10 client. I have using CentOS 7 or 8 (hosts) either one - both have issue. I am set for QXL for the guest. I tried to look at the VirtIO stable and new - neither have a Windows 10 driver under QXL. THey stop at windows 7. Lets me to think there is a

I have a windows 10 host. I have qemu 4.2.0 installed and working. I desire to install CentOS 8 on an external USB connection. what do I use for the -hda XXX value ? on linux it would be /dev/sdb - but what is it for windows ? Thanks, Jerry
