Hi Andrea,
It's a regression since the merge of the new Layer Tree.
Can you open an issue ?
Thanks,

Filip,
No way to change the design of objects from the interface. I am not
familiar with the subject of your thesis, but as the creator of the
Processing Modeler, I will be happy to ask questions about it, so just let
me know.
Cheers

Hi all,
I would like to ask for a couple of questions about VPL component QGIS
Processing Modeler. The topic of my bachelor thesis at the university is
"Evaluation of QGIS Processing Modeler according to physics of notation". I
will evaluate diagrams created in Processing Modeler and I will u

Hi all,
The changes have been merged to master today.
* Virtual fields are now defined from the field calculator.
* The field calculator is always available, regardless of provider
support and edit mode.
* If an action from the field calculator requires to turn edit mode
on, the user will b

Speaking here with my PSC hat on <|:-)
Nice example of a 'community discussion/rise-up' I think, but as noted
by Anita earli
Honestly. I don't really think it's that big of a deal. If you pay for
something in your time and would like credit for it there are lots of ways
to get credit: blogs, twitters, commit logs, github stats. If I do
something and I want people to think "oh look a new feature Nathan added"

Hi Jonathan,
I don't think that this is the message that QGIS wants to spread. If it
would be, we would do popups that ask you to sponsor for every new
feature you created ;-)
But as you state, sponsorship is a means to an end. As such it is a
prerequisite for moving this software on and therefor

I know, but that also includes the paid-for devs; my point was that if QGIS
wishes to highlight those paying for work with money, then highlighting those
paying for work with time seems fair too.
Other than that, I'm

I guess no fiscale advantage there are for any funding GFOSS.
So seeing to fiscale advantage the fund to GFOSS are fund lost.
I guess however that if a developer named "Count zero" give some code
developed by its own.
Why dont write "code founded by count zero with its own time" ?

Thanks for the answer!
Sorry but I didn't understand how to use QgsSimpleMarkerSymbolLayerV2.
I did some attempt but I didn't manage..
Below there's my code (with only two symbol item as example)
myTargetField = field
myRangeList = []
myOpacity = 1
# symbol 1
mySymbol = QgsSymbolV2.de
Hi Larry,
At the risk of being a dissenting voice, is this really the message QGIS wants
to spread? That sponsorship is king? As an Open Source GIS project, I would
hope that its prowess lay in producing exceptional GI software rather than
finding sponsorship. The later is a means to an end.

Hi list,
I wan't to set a square symbol in a point layer with python.
Currently, I use a graduated symbol legend, and I have a circle (point) symbol
with this line for each item:
symbol = QgsSymbolV2.defaultSymbol(layer.geometryType())
But I want to set a square for one item.
How can I do
Hi all,
I'm using QGIS-2.4.0 API to developing application.
I wrote a custom map canvas item called MyMapCanvasItemSvg that show SVG
items in canvas.
It is well to load and display SVG from symbol library of QGIS (i.e. file
path: d:\QGIS Chugiak\apps\qgis\svg\symbol\*.svg),
But when I
