Hi devs!
I'm a junior developer and I'm working on a project trying to refresh an old
GISWEB, to do so i chose QWC2+QGISServer.
Actual setup is:
Debian 10, Apache2, QGIS-Server 3.8, using .shp as layers... the QWC2 works
fine, WMS works fine, i can print some templates, print png, etc...

You can add a favorite for that network path.
Ah - very fine. I had actually been looking for a way to manually add a path

Where I work somebody decided to use sharepoint as our document handling
system - I will save you for my opinion on that!
But it means that typically my GIS layers are stored at places like:
\\files\Projects\11000382XX\1100038233\GIS\Layers\
And I se no way of getting to there in the QGIS
Although my problem (or rather, our problem with Raymond) is similar but
not exactly the same:
Nope - it IS the same ;) You can see it in

Yes, it's just there is more to it I think. I imagined a qgis with a
resource sharing system where we would not

OTB doesn't link to libproj. The otb Debian package has a patch for GDAL
3.
See also the PROJ 6.0.0 [0], PROJ 6.1.1 [1] & GDAL 2.5.0 [2] threads on

7.6.1 builds successfully when you define
ACCEPT_USE_OF_DEPRECATED_PROJ_API_H.
7.6.0 fails due to the removal of nad2bin in PROJ 6.

Hi all,
we also have interested customers, hopefully we'll be able to
contribute. I agree with the approach proposed by Gerald, which does not
seem very complicated. Perhaps an ad hoc funding for this will be
enough, without the need for a crowdfunding campaign?
Cheers.

For reference, in Debian Sid proj6 and gdal3 are still in

And GDAL 3 is staying there at least until fiona supports it.

I'm in favour of switching. The only issue I see is with LTR, where a
regression would be very bad. Probably better to put out experimental
packages and call for ad hoc testing before publishing an official point
release.
Great, will do thanks Gerald.
