Hi all,
Thank you to all the people involved in the new website, IMHO it's way
clearer and look more professionnal than the previous one.
Keep up the good work!

Hi German,
If I believe the PR [0] I pushed 4 month ago, QList is now
wrapped so there is no need to add it in conversions.sip
If I remember correctly we can't add it back because we would get some
type colliding on other system (fedora for instance). I fail to find exact

Hi Admire,
Thank for your work, I agree with all of your proposals.
I think there are also a few things that could be automated:
- Check for binary files
- Check for very long plugin names (like [0])
- Check for python/QGIS 2 plugins
- Check that issue tracker url exists
- ...
It would also

Hi,
You probably need to install the package which provide those files, it's
pyqt5-dev on Debian, so it should be the same on Ubuntu.
It's on the list of packages to be installed [0], did you install them ?
You can check if it's properly installed with the following command:
dpkg -l | grep

Ok, I finally get your point, and so I agree with the ambiguity, it
would be better to have a label : "DefaultProxy" use the system's proxy.

Hi,
Calling get() means that you get a reference of the QgsAbstractGeometry used by
the
QgsGeometry object, but the QgsGeometry object (g) is still the
ownership of the QgsAbstractGeometry object (g_geom).
So, if you delete your QgsGeometry (g) you delete the owned

Hi,
Great news!
I imagine there is still packaging work to be done. Anyway, I'm ok to
release a Qt6 preview release (and clearly advertising it, on the
download page and in the splashscreen at least).

Hi,
Thank you Nyall for continuing this work and all the recent pull
requests that have fixed so many things.
Be aware that my initial work was funded by Oslandia, my employer. And
then, QGIS.org funded me to do the needed work to push cleanly on QGIS
repository.
Many thanks to both of them
Hi,
It's an issue from your plugin "vectortodbloader" which use a 3rd party
library "oracledb" not an issue in QGIS.
You have to install the python dependency "oracledb" on your system. I
fail to find the plugin on QGIS plugins plateform, so I fail to find
information on how you could install

Hi PSC, devs,
I wanted to report for the work being done regarding Qt-for-python evaluation.
This work was funded by QGIS.org using a special budget first allocated to
Denis Rouzaud, who transferred it to me regarding the work that I had done on
it recently.
Main goal was to set up a
Hi,
+1 for me too, I think it would ease development of the plugin and would lower
the pain of managing compatibility between QGIS and OTB.
I opened an issue on their GitLab platform to raise awareness of this

It's part of the qgis3-qt5-build-deps.dockerfile [0] which is built with a
cache github action [1]. But looking at the log, it doesn't look like cache
is at work, everything seems to be downloaded and built

Even if it's sometime painful to wait for a review, I completely suscribe

Hi
You can use QgsNetworkAccessManager::blockingPost that take an
authentication id and will use the proxy settings configured in QGIS.
If you want to make it non blocking, you can add it to a QgsTask and
execute it with QgsTaskManager.

Hi Ismo,
Thank you for proposing this Pull request and yes, this is the
appropriate way to proceed.
Like I said in the PR, your work is overlapping another one I already proposed
and which
considerably modify the way topo points are managed in vertextool.

Hi,
While working on building QGIS python binding with SIP 6/PyQT6, it seems
to me that it takes more time than my classic setup (SIP 4.19.25/PyQT
5.15.7) but no as much as you describe.
You can try to downgrade your SIP version. I'm also on debian testing
and current python3-sip version is
Hi,
I just wanted to advertise that I'm working on builing python binding
for QGIS with Qt6/PyQt6 . It's here :

This is still draft, there is a lot of hacky stuff and commented code
but I managed to build bindings for all modules and run
Hi,
Thank you for the meeting minutes!
I'm already planning to continue the effort in
porting/fixing code for Qt6 in the next months using Oslandia own
funding, so I'm candidate to join the working group.

Hi,
I'm sorry that my PR led to a severe regression and thank you to the
people who take care of fixing/releasing.
I take the decision to merge this one because:
- It was one month old
- It has already been reviewed by someone else
- It was not a critical modification (I believed...)

It seems that "Allow overlap" is the default, so the user may have

Hi,
dataSourceUri is used when creating the dataProvider/vectorlayer and
there is no way to refresh the provider according to a new uri.
I don't see any other way than recreate a new QgsVectorLayer with the
new dataSource uri, add it to your project instance with addMapLayer and
remove the
Hi Remi,
Which profiler are you talking about ?
Did you try to use the the new Debugging/Developement tool ? It's new
since QGIS 3.26 and will give you the list of requests and the time
spent for each one when loading a project/layer or opening the attribute
table.

Hi devs,
I would like to fix the legend symbol rendering when a geometry generator is
involved in the browser and in the layout. I would like to ask you what it is
the expected behavior, because it doesn't look very consistent to me.
Every layer in my project as a geometry generator with a

Hi!
I added recently one comment in your table regarding TopoViewer because I met
somebody at Foss4G who was using it. From what I understand, it
generates several vector layers to visualise topology when extension is
enabled in PostgreSQL.
I don't know if it is widely used, if the feature is
Hi,
I followed the following instructions and managed to build on Windows:

Hi,
I managed to build QGIS on Windows 10 with MSVC 2019, and OSGeo4W V2.
Here are my notes :

I'm not sure this the best way to achieve this, but it works.
Hope it helps,
