I have made some changes to the interface of the modeler, taking into
account a couple of suggestions from Tim and Andreas (thanks!). Not a
big change, but I guess it's a nice usability improvement.

I'm testing 1.1, could you tell me how to switch back the modeler to
the advanced GUI in the modeler ? I've not found a parameter to do so in
the settings.
I appreciate that the boxes are now smaller and are directly showing
the edit/del tools but I found the arrows to be confusin

should change it in the toolbox. Maybe I shoud add that in the modeler

Sorry for the late reply. The idea of having inputs on one side and
outputs on the other one is good. I will wok on changing that, since
it looks like a good usability improvement.
The window is already not supposed to be modal, so I will also have a
look at that

Hi Victor,
If you can, have a look to Blender's node editor for guidelines. It has
some nice features which ease the use of complex models (such as visual
grouping, nested group, zoom in/out, color scheme, etc.).

Thank you Victor - looks good (only tested with the sample models).
I still haven't really started using SEXTANTE but will for sure in the
upcoming weeks. I will try to replace some of the simpler FME workflows
with a SEXTANTE workflow.
Will report if I run into troubles or have suggestions.

thanks for the ideas. Any suggestion about how to change the
appearance to improve it and make it more QGIS-like?
Anyway, I 'd probably update the manual, and then if needed, rewrite
it. I do not mind doing that, but I would like to have docs
synchronized with software as much as possi
Hi Victor,
just tested new SEXTANTE Commander. Really nice feature, but there
is one drawback. When Commander activated it is impossible to
interact with the rest of QGIS/SEXTANTE interface until it was
closed.

Yes, I still have to work on the UI a bit. Unfortunately, I am not an
expert on PyQt, and the only way I found of of making the commander
stay there is to make it modal. I tried other ways, but they ended up
having the commander floating around other windows, which is not a
good thing.
