No you are missing nothing .. Overview is definitely broken .. I already talked with Tim .. conclusion -> we would need a test for such things but it seems to be hard to write GUI Tests.. Probably this would be a candidate for a list of things which has to be manualy tested? talk about this in Ess

Hi Marco, I don't know if this is a bug or a lack of understanding on this new feature. On a map composer item, I want to add the overview frame. I can select an overview style, but the "Overview frame" drop-down menu only has the "none" option. Is there something I need to do to provide an ov

Thanks Greg. To elaborate, I am actually interested in one thing only: I am looking for the QGIS version at which PyQt 5.6 (or higher) was introduced and/or the QGIS version at which PyQt 5.5 (or lower) could no longer be used. The reason is that there's a breaking change in the PyQt API from 5.
