AW: [Qgis-user] snapping, revisited

Hi all, Same question as the last time we discussed this: What shall we do if the layer is reprojected? In most cases, the pixel/layer unit is not uniform accross the map canvas. So it is not possible to map number of pixels to distance in layer units (or at least that would not be valid for

Can't we reffer to the reprojected coordinates? Maybe it's something to add to the API? Maybe it is possible with a method that takes the tolerance in pixels, the point where the user clicked and the layer involved. The method then would calculate the search rectangle in layer coordinates.

Ok, I found a major bug on affine transformation on polygons (because one vertex repeats). As a plus I added an UNDO button, the dialog doesn't close anymore, and I (finally) added a (very ugly) icon. Any new icons are welcome. I'm uploading the 0.2 version now in the repository. As usual, official

And thanks Borys for the tips on the standards. I'm still not used to the new standards (not even the older ones). Is there any place where I can read the updated standards? On Wed, Dec 3, 2008 at 9:52 AM, Maurício de Paulo [EMAIL PROTECTED]wrote: Ok, I found a major bug on affine

Well, I've used the same lines you sugested for minimum version. Fixed the whole layer (actually I implemented it in a different way in the first time, but now it should work as expected). Now if the box is checked the first action is to select every feature in the layer. I've started using an

[Qgis-user] Pre2 postgis woes

2008-12-03 Thread William Kyngesburye
I can't add any postgis layers in 1.0p2. I can connect to get the layer list, but any layer I try to add gives an error that it's an invalid layer (and that's all it says). 1.0p1 has no problem. Now, I got thoroughly distracted by a project a couple weeks ago when I first noticed this,
