I installed gvSIG Mobile (the download with PhoneME Virtual Machine
included) and it seem to run OK, found some satellites and could load simple
shape files. JPG, TIFs etc didnt load, looks like one have to export them
from gvSIG desktop to gvSIG Mobile, will try that.

Hi all,
Yes, Osgeo4W. I selected the QGIS and GDAL packages under the express

Just so everyone knows, there is a link posted on the qgis download page

qgis with full functionali
this was what got me to ask for a list of all items under the osgeo
windows advanced install that needed to be selected to ensure full
functionality.
there was a link provided to me off this list but posted by a list

you have to go trough the advanced install and select the
qgis-plugin-grass lib.

Jachym,
Sorry for the very delayed response. There is no current work regarding
on the fly reprojection of rasters. If/when this feature becomes
available, I it will be more like a 2.x feature as we really need to
rethink the whole raster framework.

Same here on a Ubuntu 8.10 with last stable QGIS version from the ppa

Hi Paolo
I can confirm the buffer overflow pattern on my 64 bit Intrepid on a Dell D830
running QGIS 1.0.0 stable. I tried to classify 7 polygons with graduated
symbols into 7 classes. Size of dataset: shp - 1.9mb dbf - tiny, few
attributes. Very similar backtrace to what is in trac.

Could anybody confirm this bug:
https://trac.osgeo.org/qgis/ticket/1485
and possibily provide more detail? I cannot reproduce it on our Debian
64bit boxes.
In general, if users could go through the bugs list, and provide
additional info on the replicability of bugs, that would be useful.
