Hi Horst
I also like to have the node tools in a pull-down menu.
Still I think the separation basic editing toolbar / advanced editing toolbar
makes sense because some advanced tools are probably used less frequently, so

To answer for Agus, I tried this on my ubuntu linux vm and the plugin
still shows up as not-compatible.
I was poking around in the plugin source and it looked like there may
have been some things, like a path for the plugin icon, hard coded to
a path on a Windows machine. I may be way off h

Hey Folks,
Lots of info our there of how to get plugins FROM repos, but I can't
find the info of how to create the XML needed to get your repo into the
plugin installer.
I am sure it is a page on the wiki that just has not been linked.
I have of course looked at and outright copied various XML's

Maybe loosely related, but I have a problem on OS X where uic is not
loading. I believe this is a standard component of PyQt, and it shows
as being installed in PyQt, so I'm not sure what is happening here:
The plugin is broken. Python said:
cannot import name uic

Thanks,
I meant that I already had
python-qt4 4.3.3.2
libqt4-sql 4.4.0

After your message, I installed

libqt4-sql-odb
but still was geting the same message in qgis:

Hi list, marco and horst,
the error doesn't show up on each cutting action, but if you try the
linked shp-file [1] it should happen every few cutting actions. (just
try to cut lines on several (10-20) locations and it should happen
sometimes).

Hi Einar,
afaik only DGN from pre V8-Microstation is supported by ogr. V8 was
introduced in 2004 so it is very likely that your data are not supported
by ogr. If you have Microstation software available I could provide you
with a VBA-script that converts dgn to shp.

Great news after long weekend. Thank you very much for the great ability to
undo and redo the last editings. The editing environment is very matured now.
We should think about to rearrange the two editing toolbars. What about to
combine p.e. all nodetools inclusive move,
