I replaced WGS84 in qgsogrprovider.cpp with GEOGCS (QGIS master)
result stays the same: User-defined srs with towgs84 params is applied
Just to be sure: You are using GDAL

Hi Zara,
I tested your dataset, saving it to epsg 3763 and get the issue when
doing the TIN interpolation (I will file a ticket). IDW works fine here,
as also any method in the raster - analysis - grid tool.
cheers

Hi Giovanni,
thanks a lot for your answer.
I just had writing in mind, but now I notice the difference between writing a
new file und updating an existing one. ;-)

Hello
today the gdal-ecw lib was present among those available in osgeo4w and I

Gdal now recognizes ecw, I'm sure about that because I made a test with one
ecw translated correctly into jpeg by command line.

Hi,

Hi Giuseppe,
I have the same problem..
Could you please attach an example of the typical XML file and the command
we have to put in the command line in QGIS?
Sorry, but I'm not a programmer...
Thank you,

Hello Giovanni and T. Gray,Thanks for the suggestions. When I loaded the

Ramon, thanks for the idea of using Rasterconversion rasterize. Unfortunately
I think that's for vector to raster and raster to vector and gave the message

The other options in conversion also gave the same message.

Hell David, and thank you for your suggestions.
I will try your idea but fear the manual entry of many data points will make
this very time consuming. I think I know what I will be doing

Openoffice (or LibreOffice) is an open source alternative to Microsoft

LibreOffice is a fork because Oracle aquired Sun (which owned
OpenOffice) and there had been different views between Oracle and the
