the explode lines layer algorithm (search for it using the search

However, I am not sure how to install OTB in Ubuntu 12.04. The install
instructions on the OTB point at ppa's of UbuntuGIS and OTB, but these

This is now automatically created in my home folder each time I start up
QGIS (if it isn't already there). I would like to have that folder

Just wondering if i am able to transfer the plugin's from one
QGIS installation to another. On some of the PC's which i have install QGIS
they don't have internet access as such the best way if possible is to copy
over the plugin's i have downloaded to them.

The tip that you can specify a folder (not only individual files) in the
ogr2ogr command was the breakthrough. That helps a lot, and will make other
tasks like this a breeze, now that I know this. :)
