Hi
I have built a project with some imported text layers and varios other

It started OK but now crashes Q1.8 every time I try to open the project
The system error text file is below and the problem flagged in the error
message relates to delimitedtextprovider.dll (in bold)
The project is
Hi,
Please check how many files remained in /usr/lib/grass64/.
Perhaps QGIS removed it to install again GRASS (which failed)?
Before installing QGIS (at the time when GRASS is still launching), there is no
grass64 folder in /usr/lib but there is the folder
/usr/local/grass6.4.3SVN. This seems
Hi!
Just as a suggestion ..
If you are self compiling GRASS - you should probably also self
compile QGIS .. As it seems that QGIS expects some GRASS files in
decent positions you could tell QGIS where to find the GRASS version
you would like to use and compile it ..
Maybe that solves a lot of that
In order to duplicate a layout I think it's possible to open a layout and
save it as template, then open a new layout and load the saved template.
Let me know if it works

couldn't fine anything how to build/install the GRASS-QGIS plugin.
Are there any instructions? Trying to install it via apt-get fails because:
Depends: qgis (= 1.8.0-1~precise1) but 20120824-1 (self-compiled) is
to be installed.
BTW both QGIS and GRASS are installed via checkinstall. I am not

I am working on those commands but In Linux side I have got the training
map to raster format with all visible.
More issues I overcame (for students benefit) is:
I imported a shape file made in Qgis with the RGB column and label
column. To get this to work I had to select 'command
yes, it is. thank you
the problem for me was the legend. when you apply a template to new layout,
the legend is updated as it is in the view, but i see that you can copy and
paste it between old layout and new layout. so it's easy to correct manually
just the range of values of new layer

you can use group stats plugin

Hi all
I'm on Qgis 1.8 6416f38 an I'll like to install sextante (1.07) trough
plugin installer
Qgis tries to download it and after a while it says that the plugin is
corrupt and that is better for me to uninstall it. This is the message:
Il plugin è corrotto. Messaggio python: 5
Why?
Thanks
Sorry for posting an off-topic answer - your question was not very
specific though (you were talking about the composer but I didn't
understand that) ;)
cheers

Just curious - how much time did the 'gdalinfo -approx_stats file.vrt'

This is something that could be done inside QGIS rather easily I think

you are right, but the improvements of master vers. are so useful that i'd
like to try to use it in production.

I do not recommend to run master for production in current time. Many
things are going to change, API will break .
