I would suggest try to downgrade proj.4 and see if that helps, if so send an email to the ubuntugis mailing list. Open synaptic, select the proj package and click on Package-Force version - and then select 4.7 if it's available. (I use oneiric so can't test for precise). cheers Etienne On Thu,
