[Qgis-user] points with altitude

Is there enay way to record altitude in qgis? Can one calculate distance of points that are near in terms of 2D coordinates, but they are far away regarding altitude? Say if I want to calculate radio link losses from a repeater located on a hill, and an end station residing down in the city. Can

[Qgis-user] Different WMS behaviour in 1.8 and 2.1

Loading a WMS in version 2.1 (64 bit weekly ) gives a totally black screen when zoomed out. Zooming in reveals that areas with missing information is all black. Also the legend is all black: Loading exactly the same WMS in version 1.8 w
