Hi Don,
can you provide more information on your problem like:
- what are the errors, what did fail exactly?
- can you provide some example data in your choosen format?
- how did you import the data?
best

We have been trying to enter lat. long. coordinates in order to
georeference some local survey points. When we manually enter either
degree, minute, second or decimal degree into Excel and convert to a vector
point file the conversion fails. Any recommendations?

Hi Dave,
You could have a look at "Rule-based" rendering:

Hi - I'm undertaking a crash course in using QGIS for a geological
application. I have imported field data into a layer which holds tabled
attributes against a symbol feature. Can someone please advise me how to
change the symbol style (even to a different symbol altogether) depending

Don't know :-). I use self-compiled SAGA because all repositories for
a long time
offered only very outdated 2.3.x version. And because you can have

Hi Alexander,
what is the difference between self-compiled saga and that from
ubuntugis (now 7.4)?
Just by accident, I stumble about your repository mentioned somewhere on
stackexchange just a few minutes ago.
Is there a specific reason you hide your stuff this well? ;)

Hi Bernd,
I successfully use self-compiled SAGA 7.4.0 and master (previously
also 6.3, 6.4 and 7.3)
with custom provider plugin. But I'm not a big SAGA user and use only
small subset of
algorithms which are needed for my tasks.

Hi,
now that QGIS and ubuntugis is again in sync, I wonder if there is
anyone with a working SAGA integration into the toolbox?
Cheers,

Hi all,
I am just preparing a workshop for thursday "The very best of QGIS

Dear Nicolas,
You were exactly right, the problem was the spaces and accent in the
path. I did ran the interpolation in SAGA but the it was just a part of
the whole process which is much more easier to run completely inside qgis.

Jonathan.
