-2016-report is
not really helpful because it is based on some 40 reviews only and
therefore not representative.
I really need to know some proven facts on the number of global QGIS
users and renown companies using QGIS worldwide.
Thanks for your help in advance,

Hi Mark,
I have exactly the same problem.
I installed the QGIS Server 2.2 (valmiera) on my remote Linux/Debian
server and as long as I was feeding it with Projectfiles made with QGIS
Valmiera 2.2 all worked fine, but since I upgraded my Desktop QGIS to
2.8.2, I have the same problem with the
-mapserver?
Thanks for your comments.

Dear list,
two short questions:
1. Does anybody know, if there is a QGIS 2 official package available
for Debian 6 (squeeze)?
2. Which QGIS Version does the offiicial package for Debian 7 (wheezy)
include?
Thanks for your answers.

the file

Anyway, I am happy that I can go on now with the detaield configuration

that´s the point ... *my QGIS Server is running*, please test following

Dear List,
for 2 days I was trying to get the QGIS Web Client running on my Windows
7 / Apache 2 system.
I think I checked almost all comments and (still left open) questions on
that issue on the web and this mailing list and my impression is, that
nobody ever successfully installed the QGIS
happens you may get an answer from the
list. Your URLs are not accessible (time-out), at least for me.

But would this be possible in real time, similar to the QGIS Measuring

with a blank project you should see all the
plugins you have installed/activated the last time you used the program.

Dear List,
is there a way to create sth. like a *.qgis default project file which
activates automatically all plugins I´d like to have when I start a new
project (or restart an old one with previously activated plugins)?
So far, I have to open all plugins, such as the QGIS File Browser,
relative path cannot help in this
case.
Only after deleting all map compositions in the original project file
within the OSGeo4W installation on my Desktop, I could open it with the
Standalone Version on my laptop.

interesting to hear! So the printing limitation is caused by the
Open Layer Plugin and not by the Google WMS(?).
I hope new versions of the Open Layer Plugin will address this problem...

Hi ,
there are also some GRASS modules like i.ortho.photo, which might be an
option (note: yet they are neither included in the native windows
version of GRASS nor in QGIS for Win).
I yet have no experience with it, but maybe this paper gives the
necessary insight:
