Hi All,
the mentioned before date: 12-15 November for the next hackfest is
confirmed at the University of Wroclaw (Poland) as available.
If that term is ok with you, we would like to start organising :)

parency do them no harm.
@Błażej: you can also edit black areas with any non-gis-related raster
tool, set them white and then open in QGIS and set transparency. Just
an old trick ;)
hope this helps

part of Wroclaw and is freely available from June to September. But
having in mind Barcelona conference, we think it would be convenient
to plan the hackfest for begining of July, lets say 2nd-5th of July.
Let us know if You like the idea, please.

I hope that I live these days, when every GIS can generate and read
SLD so we could move not only the data but also the *cartography* :)

Hi All,
QGIS 1.4 from osgeo4w installer seems to not have SSL support while
Standalone has.
Is it a known issue or I'm missing some component from osgeo4w?

Hi All,
Installed Daphnis from osgeo4w... what my eyes can see... no more
one-finger-shortcuts? I liked them :)
I think most users did. Unfortunatelly the new ones doesn't go well on
windows...

Hello Ricardo, hi all
maybe my 5 cents are not solving the problem, but I have tested
creating centroids with fTools (menu bar: tools>geometry tools>polygon
centroids)
- it works fine and quickly (tested in 1.0.2 and 1.1.0 v ). It is a core plugin.

Hi Paolo, hi all,
...all I can say is that you are not alone, I have that problem too. I
can not use GRASS plugin because it kills QGIS with "G_getenv():
Variable GISBASE not set" error.
Running QGIS 1.0.2, standallone installer, on win xp.
