Hi all
Does anyone know if QGIS is affected at all by the bash bug?
Thanks

Hi
Does anyone know if it is possible to a layer in QGIS, coming from a SQL
database, that contains both point and polygon data? At the minute it brings in
all the data, but only displays the polygon data, not the point data.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi
I was wondering if anyone had successfully deployed QGIS via a Citrix (Thin

1)Is it possible to compile an installer package that not only installs
qgis, but installs the required plugins too?

Hi all
Can anyone tell me how it is possible to count up the total number of points,
or sum up a value against each point within a boundary?
For example I have seven points, in a polygon, each point has an attribute of
differing numbers and I want to assign the sum value of this attribute
Hi Andreas
Is this the same as the basic statistics tool that you can find in the Vector
tools? I can see the plugin is already loaded but cannot see any Zonal Stats
button/option anywhere. I'm using the latest weekly build at the minute.
Thanks

Hi
Has anyone had any success of getting QGIS to work on Thin Client? I've been
asked to investigate this with my ICT department as they are wanting to
minimise the number of FAT client install of software. We have Citrix running

I have a layer that has nine polygons that are identical, I need to delete
eight of them, but I can't seem to see a way of easily identifying the one
polygon I need to keep (i.e. QGIS only allows me to click on the top polygon,
not scroll through the underlying polygons).
Any suggestions

I was wondering if anyone knew of a useful guide that shows me how to add

Thanks

Hi,
Can anyone tell me where the Print Composer projects are being stored?
I'm probably being stupid but I can't seem to identify where QGIS is
storing them (or at least I can't seem to find a way to specify where I
want to store a Print Composer Project!)
Thanks

Hi

a way to identify the day of the week that the date relates to so if
01-01-2013 is a Tuesday I want to create an extra column to display the
day name.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello
Is there a way to calculate the total sum of points that
intersect/overlap a particular line - so I can add a column to my line
dataset that tells me x number of points intersect/overlap this
particular line.
Thanks

Hi
Thanks for answer, however I have discovered the Point sampling Tool
within QGIS that does exactly what I need it to do, It lets me pick
specific columns from multiple tables in one process!!! Perfect to

Hi Steve,
As an aside, do you know if the Oracle connector uses

As an aside, do you know if the Oracle connector uses the

Hey Steven
Hi
Does anyone else have significant time delays when trying to open large
datasets from a SQL database in QGIS? I have uploaded my Ordnance survey

although the initial connection to identify the table is very quick, the
part of my SQL database (i.e. - I haven't had to split out points,
